From drab to Fab!
Learn how to jazz up your own item of clothing while learning the fun technique of machine applique. Once you have learnt this creative technique you can go wild.
Bring your own, jumper, jacket, shirt, dress or skirt and we will teach you how to turn it from drab to fab!
Class includes:
- 1 x 3 hrs tuition classe
- Fabric to make approx 6 Daisy and Vliesofix
- Acrylic flower template
- Thread
Additional items
- Sewing machine including needle and supporting attachments
- Basic sewing items, plain cotton, scissors, rotary cutter
- Basic knowledge of your machine and basic sewing skills required
Key learnings:
In this class you will learn:
- Technique of this creative concept
- Trace and cut fabric requirements for this technique
- Applique technique
- How to use fancy stitches for applique
- You will also learn random things about sewing, patchwork, fabric and no doubt much more.
Class classification: Beginner with basic knowledge of their machine
The class will consist of approximately four participants, ensuring a private setting that offers a nearly one-on-one experience compared to other classes.
This class will take 3hrs but you will be required to arrive 30 mins early to set up machine, pick fabric and get sorted so we have the full 3hrs to sew.
There will also be a minimum number of people required fo this class to go ahead. If it looks like we wont get the numbers I will communicate with you ASAP.
